Warren is manager of the Resource Development Team at the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.  Warren and his team manage programs and planning issues for desalination, salinity management, groundwater, stormwater and the water-energy nexus in Metropolitan’s Water Resource Management Group.  This includes implementing Metropolitan’s Future Supply Actions Funding Program, which funds research to remove development barriers for local water resources. In collaboration with Metropolitan’s Business Outreach team, he is also developing a new innovation program within Metropolitan.

With over 25 years of experience in California’s water industry, Warren serves on the boards of the Southern California Salinity Coalition, CalDesal and Multi-State Salinity Coalition. He also represents Metropolitan on the National Alliance for Water Innovation.  Prior to joining Metropolitan, he gained experience at the Army Corps of Engineers Institute for Water Resources.  Warren has a M.S. in Environmental Science, a B.A. in Anthropology, and can often be found hiking local trails around Southern California.
