Mark Donovan is a Senior Water Process Engineer and Associate with GHD and has 25 years of experience in desalination and water treatment via membrane technology. Mark holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. Mark is a registered Professional Engineer in California, Hawaii, and Oregon.
Mark has participated in domestic and international seawater and brackish desalination projects in a variety of roles, from membrane and system manufacturer to consulting engineer, and was instrumental in the successful delivery of the Carlsbad Desalination Plant.
Currently, Mark is the Desalination Program Manager for the Doheny Desalination Project on behalf on South Coast Water District, and also provides technical support to other GHD desalination and membrane treatment projects.
